Sandbach Striders

From 5k runs to trail runs, and marathons themed on science fiction, the members of the Sandbach Striders running club, participated in no less than 14 events

Sandbach Striders pride themselves on choosing a charity based in the local area. Last year the club raised over £1000 at the Sandbach 10k for Cheshire Buddies

This week members of Sandbach Striders Running Club competed in two different cake races, multiple parkruns, and a duathlon, amongst the many events that took place

This week the world famous London Marathon was ran, but members from Sandbach Striders were out running distances from between 5k to 26.2 miles. Three of the clubs’ runners crossed their first marathon finishing lines, with one slightly further afield in a very unconventional location

From Easter egg hunts on trail marathons, to a speedy 10k in Crewe this was another busy week for the members of Sandbach Striders running club.

The members of Sandbach Striders Running Club have had a busy first two weekends in April. Their achievements include several first time marathons, a 100th Parkrun, a parkrun on the other side of the world, and a club marathon record!
