Sandbach Striders

From a number of trail races, to the top of the UK's highest mountain, and one of the toughest endurance events, it was a tiring week for the members of the club

From the usual parkruns, marathons and summer triathlons to predictathons in aid of charity, the Striders competed in distances from 5 kilometers to 26.2 miles this week

From Iceland to Congleton, top of mountains in Wales, and in the Alps, it was yet another busy week for the members of the Sandbach Striders running club.

This week saw the hottest weekend of the year so far, but this didn’t prevent the members of the Sandbach Striders running club going out in force, and competing in some pretty sweltering conditions

Around this time each year the club runs the Sandbach 10k route instead of the usual Wednesday night club run. This gives members the chance to take part in the event as they help marshall and organise the race in September
